This is the first 1u case I've had so I can't compare to others but it's nice build quality and very solid but not too heavy either. My build is a quiet, low power pfsense firewall. The finish is very nice, I thought it was a dark grey but in light it's almost light grey or silver with a polished edge on the mesh, the power button also has a blue LED. The included fans are okay and provide enough airflow but I got a good deal on two noctua fans. The case supports a typical 1u PSU but my build was low power and wanted it quiet so I went with a RGEEK 150w PICO PSU board with a Meanwell LRS 100-12 PSU. The front USB ports are 3.0 so the cable was rather thick but not too difficult to tie away, I didn't intend to use them and wanted more room so I removed them entirely which is easily done with 2 screws. My only recommendation for anyone looking to build in a 1u is consider a motherboard with flat SODIMM slots or a server motherboard with regular DIMMS that run the other way to help with airflow, normal consumer boards mean the ram restricts airflow from the front fans even with low ram. It might not matter much in a low heat system. I also recommend a solid PCI riser instead of a ribbon cable type since the PCI bracket doesn't seem to have a normal tab for the bracket to slot into near the IO shield. You can hold it in place with the usual PCI bracket screw on the end but the inside of the bracket might remain free floating. You can see this in the product photos which show a basic rectangle shape cover (Unlike the RackPc X140LD which seems to have the punch out slot for the bracket). Note: you can't see it well in my photo since I had to 3d print a bracket anyway as my card only had a low profile bracket. Overall I'm happy with it and it's the cheapest short 1u case I could find in the UK that fit my needs so I highly recommend :)
Fair price, excellent quality !
