It's a really nice looking, well ventilated, short depth case. As one of the other reviewers says, mine had vents for a normal side cooled power supply although I opted to stick with the 80mm inline style as the vents would be blocked by other rack items above. The short depth and a mATX board does make cable management a little tricky, especially if you want to use the 5.25" bays. Fortunately I did not need the 3.5" bays so removed these completely for more space and perhaps better airflow. I removed the supplied fans from the word go, mainly as these were molex supply and I wanted PWM to be able to control the fan speed. Fans are easily swapped out by unscrewing the panel in front of the 3.5" drive bays. I can't comment on the volume of the supplied fans, I never powered them on. The optional RackPC rails fit and work really nicely too. Only a few small issues; I found the IO shield did not hold securely and occasionally fell out without the motherboard in place. The PCI cards would sometimes get stuck under the case lip if the card was removed back first. And finally the edges, especially on the drive bays, are pretty sharp. I would definitely buy this case again, despite the very minor points above, it turned out really well for my needs and would still rate it 5/5 for function and form vs cost.
This is a great, compact chassis. Worth noting that the top cover is vented above the PSU (despite not showing this in the pictures), so a standard consumer power supply with a top fan would be fine. I would recommend getting a standard modular PSU rather than the Seasonic ones if you plan to use the 5.25 bays - I wish I had known about the vent when purchasing! Also you won't be able to fit any 3.5 inch drives if using a micro ATX board unless you have an ultra low profile (1U) CPU cooler, in which case you'll be able to fit 2. Any 2.5 inch drives will fit though.
I was actually looking at the case with the LCD thermometer (it would have been very useful to monitor the thermals of my fan-less project), but I actually needed the ventilation fins. The metal edges are a bit sharp, so I had to be careful, but the case comes with all you need, looks good, and the final result is perfect. Temperatures are under control even though the server is seeing some load.
I dont have a build yet
