How Project X works

X-CASE builds custom rackmount PCs using desktop-class components, designed around real workloads rather than catalogue models.

Project X runs as a virtual engineering workshop. There is no showroom, no warehouse, and no fixed production line. Systems are designed, built, and tested only when required.

Virtual model

Removing fixed premises keeps focus on specification, validation and build quality, rather than overhead. It also allows the same standards to be applied to every build, regardless of volume.

Validation first

Every system is reviewed by a human engineer with AI-assisted checks before any parts are committed. Validation covers compatibility, thermals, power delivery, firmware risk and known platform issues.

Quote only

We do not publish part-by-part pricing. Component costs move daily. Builds are priced by quote once requirements are known and risks are checked.

No fixed hours

There are no set opening times. When work is required, systems are built. When it is not, designs are refined.
